As a Utah native, Dr. Todd Liston has enjoyed the beauty of the mountains, deserts, and all that Utah has to offer. Todd was raised on a farm and learned from an early age the importance of family teamwork and the need to do hard things even when it was not convenient. This work ethic has been a blessing and provided many opportunities for the Liston family. The most recent opportunity was a three-year ecclesiastical mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that Dr. Liston and his wife served in the Philippines.

Dr. Todd Liston received his bachelor’s degree from Weber State University, his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia and completed a four-year oral and maxillofacial surgical residency training program at The Ohio State University. He also passed a thorough written qualifying examination and rigorous oral certifying examination to become board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Through continuous continuing education and recertification, Dr. Liston has maintained his current board certification recognizing the highest status of professional training in his specialty.

Dr. Liston practices much of the scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery including, removal of wisdom teeth, placement of dental implants, bone grafting, soft tissue (gum) grafting, correction of facial and mouth deformities and trauma as well as pathology. He provides all levels of anesthesia, from local to general, allowing for maximal patient comfort.

Esthetic reconstruction of areas of missing teeth has been a passion for Dr. Liston. This desire has led him to be instrumental in the innovation and development of the Gum Shaper system, which provides the dentist with the ability to preserve and perfect the way the gum tissue forms around the dental implant. This has brought a new and exciting dimension to the dental profession.

Providing education and service has been part of Dr. Liston’s life. He has lectured locally and nationally on numerous surgical subjects, especially implant dentistry. The Liston family has provided service here at home and throughout the world. They have been active for years in the development and perpetuation of a Dental/Medical clinic in Northern Mexico. Dr. Liston loves the profession of oral and maxillofacial surgery and is excited to see you, getting to know you and assisting you in your care.
